About

Our Mission

SIS Panels™ is the brand and trademark for our library of continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions, that are structural or non-structural. The SIS Panels™ brand and trademark are owned by 2193042 AB Ltd (O/A Nexxgen Building Systems), which manufactures and assembles SIS Panels™ for the marketplace.

The panels in our innovative library of laminated structural and non-structural sheathing panel solutions are used predominately as a key component of the exterior building envelope for single-family, multi-family, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

SIS Panels’ innovative library of sheathing panel solutions is built on the 45 years of accumulated experience in construction, pre-fabrication, and manufacturing of our President and CEO, Frank Hassan.  From a career worth of experience, Frank realized that there was a better way to construct the exterior building envelope that would be eco-friendly, non-combustible, and more efficient all while providing superior insulation values.

With the standard EIFS system, a lot of time and money is wasted in the onsite construction of buildings due to the multiple trips around the building required to construct the envelope. By combining the different layers of the EIFS system into one product, construction projects would require less time to install and enclose. Thus, the building envelope would be completed with a safer and much quicker method, saving on costs, labour, time and reducing energy consumption. As building codes change and traditional building methods become outdated the standard EIFS system is becoming inefficient, labor-intensive, and expensive. Not to mention every time a trade switches on the wall assembly it adds more time and safety risks that could be avoided.

The SIS Panels™ team is dedicated to being the #1 manufacturer and supplier of continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions for building envelopes. The SIS Panels™ brand represents the next generation of continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions to better meet and exceed the existing and future building codes.  Building codes continue to evolve and require movement of the insulation to the exterior wall, or “out-sulation”, positioning SIS Panels™ to be the prime solution for this model.

The SIS Panels™ team is determined to change and positively impact the construction industry for exterior building envelopes with a greener, eco-friendly, high insulating library of panel solutions. Our panel solutions reduce the costs of labor and materials and enclose the building envelope sooner – reducing heating costs and extending the building season in Canada.

The SIS Panels™ team works with our clients to help them solve problems with innovative solutions. We listen to what the problems are and ask how we can help. We build strong relationships with our clients and deliver top-quality and innovative continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions for their projects.

We are building long-term relationships for manufacturing and distribution with large supply and distribution partners, such as Georgia-Pacific (DensGlass/DensElement), CertainTeed (Glasroc), Pacific West Systems Supply (PacWest), and Timber Mart. The SIS Panels™ team and our partners share the same vision, and they love our products. We have realized that working together is key to pushing the construction industry forward.

We believe that non-combustible, high insulation solutions should be used in all buildings, such as multi-family homes, hospitals, commercial sites, and seniors’ centres to protect lives if there is a fire, save on energy consumption, and provide better eco-friendly continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions for the building envelope.

We support families, businesses, and local communities. We believe in supporting the economy and protecting the environment with our eco-friendly solutions. We believe we can be a leader in evolving the building and energy codes in Canada and North America.

We understand the importance for Canadians to purchase “Made in Canada” products and services. Canadians support the growth and innovation of Canadian businesses by referring customers to local businesses rather than overseas solutions. By supporting Canadian-made products and Canadian businesses, you support Canadian workers and their families.  This also leads to a stronger financial and economic base across the country that in turn leads to funding for housing, hospitals, social programs, etc.
