A Bit About Us
Our History
SIS Panels™ is one of the leading manufacturers of continuous exterior insulation sheathing panel solutions, both structural and non-structural, owned and operated by Nexxgen Building Systems.
Our insulated sheathing has roots that go back to the early 1980s in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our President and CEO, Frank Hassan, was involved with some of the first R-2000 homes that explored new energy efficient construction techniques that are common today. On a rainy day, rather than shut the jobsite down, Frank suggested laminating the sheathing and exterior insulation together to give the crew something to do without wasting time or material.
Insulated sheathing is not a new solution but the energy codes of today and tomorrow has made insulated sheathing an ideal solution for reaching these new requirements without reinventing the wheel.
Our Mission
Never Stop
Innovating
We are always looking for fresh perspectives and new ideas to revolutionize the construction industry. Whether that is providing continuous exterior insulation sheathing panels, insulated studs, or creative wall systems.
Manufacture Locally in Canada & The USA
Nothing feels better than supporting local and strengthing the economy. Everywhere you build or spec across North America, SIS Panels are manufactured or sold by local businesses. The best way to win is to win together.
Prioritize a Client-Centric Approach
There is no “one size fits all” solution to construction. That’s why we build strong, long-term relationships with clients by listening to their needs and solving their problems with innovative solutions that meet and exceed evolving building codes.
Build a Better Future For Everyone
It is unfortunately becoming more and more common that wildfires are destorying communities and towns. That’s why we strive to provide a variety of material options that allow for sustainable, low-carbon, and non-combustible construction.
Support All Types of Construction
Building better shouldn’t be limited to a certain type of building or style of wall assembly. SIS Panels are designed to be easily integrated into all building types to make specifications simple, including multi-family homes, hospitals, and commercial sites.
Help Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency
The more cost effective and simple we can make energy efficient construction, the faster it will become mainstream for the public to live in healthier, more comfortable homes. Insulated sheathing is one step forward in this direction.
